Very informative and great presentation in layman's verbiage, so that the audience can understand what is going on. Some presentations have acronyms and medical jargon, which non-medical persons do not understand. This was very positive and encouraging. Personally, I did not struggle with weight outside my pregnancies, except when I hit Menopause. Then the crap hit the fan. No matter what I did (eating right, exercising), I could not lose weight, in fact, I gained weight!🤣I have come to the recent decision after trying diets, exercise, medications, that surgery is the last resort and option at this point. Thank you!

This is very important for people that cannot have general anesthesia safely. Almost all surgeries can be done with regional anesthesia even open heart surgery. You can be paralyzed from the neck down for the surgery. I personally cannot have sedation either due to heath issues. Only a handful of surgeries cannot be done with regional anesthesia.

Ive noticed alot of people say they went on a liquid diet for 2 weeks before surgery. My surgeon told me to do liquids for 2 days before surgery with the day before clear liquids only. 2 days doing liquids is waaaaay better then 2 weeks!!

Having major pain 6 weeks after blocker. I wish I wouldn’t Have done it. Had a super great surgery without the blocker. I’ve had both hips done. Another person I know Had a very bad experience With the blocker. Just think about we’re there giving the shot there’s a lot of nerves there. U just have to do your own research and see what’s the best for you.

Great video! I have a question: I had a concussion about 6 weeks ago, since then I have slowly been recovering, although I am still symptomatic (headaches). I have been able to do steady-state cardio at 80% of my HR max for 3 weeks now. Am I ready to now start doing other types of exercise like weight lifting and rock climbing? Or should I wait with these kinds of anaerobic exercises until I am not symptomatic anymore? Hope you can give me some insights!

I just finished the video and learned some new things. When I was loosing weight on my own I read somewhere that you should eat 1 gram of protein for every pound you wanted to weigh, now I know I don't need that much. Green vegetables are the best to eat to help with weight loss. I also realize now that this will be a life long commitment and my support people will be a great ade to use when I need a little extra help.
